Not much to report this month for this enthusiastic group as the scheduled game for 25th September was washed out because of a storm which hit the course.  However, that did not deter the Social Club organiser Lorraine Tibbs, and 5 men players from tackling the wet conditions and having a social hit.  There are some players who just will not let anything detract from the game of golf.

The Social Club hopes for better luck for their next outing, which is to be held on Sunday 23rd October.  The event will be versus Par and everyone is welcome to take part.

If you are unable to commit to 18 hole golf competition, the Social Club is a great way to have a game under competition conditions and not have to give up too much of your time.  Should you want to join this group you will be made most welcome.  Contact either the Club or Lorraine Tibbs for details.
