Well opening Day is getting closer 15/2/2012 and just to remind you it is an 18 Hole 3+3+3 stableford sponsored by Guardian Pharmacy, with an 8.00 a.m. shotgun start. This will be a draw for partners, with individual entries taken at the Pro-shop or the Computer.
Monday 27th February will be a 4 peron Drop out Ambrose, sponsored by the Coffee Club.  Nomination sheet in the Ladies Room.
Opening Day for Week-end players is Saturday 25th February, with an 18 hole 4 person Las Vegas Ambrose.
Beginners class for Monday 6th Februarywere postponed due to the condition of the course. Mark Harvison has rescheduled the lessons for the beginners clinic to the 13th and 20th & 27th of February at 9.30a.m. and 5.30p.m., the cost being $2.00. If you are wishing to participate please contact Mark at the Pro Shop on 66425413.
All the good Veterans amongst us dont forget the Veterans Championship at Mullumbimby on the 19th March at a cost of $18.00 per player, and there is a need for interested players to nominate early.
Fran Forman will be leaving us this Year, and we wish her and Graeme all the best in their new life. Thanks for the tireless years of work that you put into the Committee Fran and a sincere thank you from all the Lady Golfers.
On Monday 12th March Mark Harvison and Julie will be offering 2 three hour clinics, starting at 9.a.m. and 1.00p.m. Each clinic will work on aspects of both the long and short games and will be restricted to 14 people.  Preference will be given to those who missed out on the October Clinics.  The cost will be $40 per person per clinic, all those who are interested register with Mark at the Pro Shop. These clinics have engendered much talk about Golf so get in early , so you do not miss out. 
It is only a week until opening day, coming up fast.  Maybe time for a practice swing or two, new Golf Glove and hit the fairways, hopefully have some fun.
